This China Specific Notice to the Privacy Notice ("China Notice") is a “Specific Notice” as defined by the Emerson Privacy Notice ("Privacy Notice") and acts as a supplement to the Privacy Notice in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations. If there is any inconsistency between the content of the China Notice and the Privacy Notice, the China Notice shall prevail.
The China Notice applies to the collection, storage, use, processing, transmission, provision, disclosure, deletion and other processing of personal information of natural persons, based in the People's Republic of China, by Emerson's Chinese legal entities operating in the People's Republic of China currently or in the future.
Applicable law
In China, we comply with Chinese information protection laws, regulations, regulatory guidelines and national standards, including but not limited to Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We may use Emerson affiliates around the world and other third parties to provide products or services. After obtaining your authorization and consent, we will only share your personal information with Emerson affiliates, companies, organizations and individuals outside Emerson as described in the Privacy Notice. We provide products or services through resources and servers around the world, which means that the personal information we collect and generate within the People's Republic of China will be stored on the servers both within the People's Republic of China and abroad.
